ScotAsh is the UK's leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly cements, grouts, concrete enhancers and waste stabilisation products. The company, established in 1999, is a joint venture between ScottishPower and Lafarge Cement UK.
Our high quality construction products are produced by experienced powder technologists using low carbon Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA) or fly ash as a base.
This means that our products are sustainable. They reduce the need for primary aggregates - and using PFA as a cement component in concrete has considerably less CO2 impact than conventional materials, such as Portland cement.
To ensure our products meet consistently high quality standards and deliver strong performance benefits, we utilise ash beneficiation technology. Our ash beneficiation plant - the first to be installed in Europe - allows us to process the ash to achieve a very low carbon content, providing the ideal base for high grade cementitious products.
