High Carbon PFA for Blacktop Roads
High Carbon PFA, a byproduct from ScotAsh's electrostatic separation process has been trialled successfully as an alternative filler to limestone dust in Stone Mastic Asphalt by several Scottish local authorities.
The high carbon ash is also being used by Linear Quarry Products Ltd in Durafoam - foamed bitumen Macadam made from 95% recycled materials.
