ScotAsh Achieves Nine Years Accident Free
ScotAsh celebrated the major safety milestone of nine years without a Lost Time Injury (LTI)* on Sunday 20th November 2011.
The company’s achievement in running its operations for well over 3,000 days with no injuries to employees resulting in absence from work, follows recognition of its excellent health and safety performance with a major award in September.

Driving down emissions
ScotAsh's Chris Bennett was in the driving seat at the launch of the UK's first wind powered van in October. Chris, who Chairs the sustainability group Green Business Fife, went to Methil's Hydrogen Office for the official launch of the van, which will be used by Fife Shopping and Support Services to deliver pensions and groceries to elderly and disabled people.
