Long-serving employees helped to shape ScotAsh

Congratulations to Billy Anderson, who received his 10-year long service award on 14th June.
Billy has been a valued member of the ScotAsh team since the inception of the company and is renowned for his innovative ideas.
He was recognised previously for devising and building a special hopper that reduced significantly the amount of flush waste disposed of to landfill.
Flush waste is the material that is flushed from pipes when the plant switches manufacturing from one product to another.
Thanks go to all our team members for their consistent effort and high standards - but we wish to single out some other long- serving employees for special mention.
Among the longest serving are Technical Sales & Quality Manager Chris Bennett, who transferred to ScotAsh from ScottishPower Ash Sales, Personnel & Training Advisor Eleanor Penman and Stuart Jackson and Gordon Lang (both members of the Production Team).
Former team member Bill Armstrong, who retired from ScotAsh in 2007, also played a significant role in the company's success, particularly in product and business development.
