College praises student Walter
ScotAsh apprentice Walter Cairns
Congratulations to ScotAsh apprentice Walter Cairns, who was runner-up in Forth Valley College's Apprentice of the Year Awards.
Walter, who is going through a Modern Apprenticeship Programme, is currently studying for an HNC in Instrumentation.
Curriculum Leader Kenny MacInnes, said: "Walter was one of the best students of the year, consistently producing high quality work so it is no surprise to me that he was in the top three of the year. He should be very proud of his achievements."
Walter said: "I'm really chuffed with this award as I have put a lot of effort in - it's the perfect culmination to a hard year."
