Safety put into practice
ScotAsh held a Safety Day at the end of June which was attended by the majority of the workforce along with ScotAsh Board member Allan Everett, Lafarge's Ash Business Manager, and Steven Carter, Lafarge Cement UK's PR and Communications Manager.

The day involved the demonstration of a working at height rescue in the packing shed and staff responding to a number of First Aid scenarios, as well as a demonstration of the Lone Worker System.
The event ended with a fire drill.
