Working with Scottish universities and other materials specialists, ScotAsh is committed to on-going research, to develop new applications for PFA. Recent innovations include high early strength cements, cements with microsilicas and cements with fibres.
We manufacture a high performance grout used in the linings of oil wells that is exported to the oil industry worldwide.
We also pioneered a unique stone paving system, comprising bedding mortar and joint filling grout that works as a complete structural system on setted roads and pavements. The Sika Trojan Stone Paving System (now sold by Sika) has been used with great success in Edinburgh, Dundee and Belfast.
For customers interested in superior strength concrete, we manufacture Superpozz SV 80, a superfine material that delivers major strength and durability benefits to concrete buildings, structures and manufactured products, such as tiles, ceramics, rubber and plastics.
