Trojan Masonry Cement
ScotAsh Trojan Masonry Cement is a carefully formulated blend of quality-controlled pulverised fuel ash (PFA), also known as fly ash, Portland cement and an air-entraining agent.
ScotAsh optimises the PFA utilised in its products through advanced powder technologies including electrostatic separation and classification, prior to the blending process.
Quality
Trojan Masonry Cement is a specially formulated cement that complies with BS EN 413-1 Class MC 12.5 "Specification for Masonry Cement" when tested in accordance with BS EN 413-2.
Uses and Benefits
ScotAsh Trojan Masonry, a sulfate-resisting masonry cement, is designed specifically for use in: -
- Bedding and pointing all types of bricks and blocks.
- Rendering and plastering
- Internal and external finishes including pebbledash and roughcast.
- Backing and bedding wall and floor tiles.
It is easy to prepare - the product is simply mixed with sand and water, and offers good workability and cohesiveness. It is economic to use, provides durability and is sulfate and freeze thaw resistant.
